Volkswagen's new VW plant for the VW Trinity to be the trend for the Group.
In financing the construction to VW, however, should not hope for state help.
Wolfsburg - Volkswagen is taking big strides in the direction of e-mobility, including the new plant for the VW electric car from the Trinity series.
The VW plant should be built quickly: For the car manufacturer from Lower Saxony, it plays a decisive role on its way to e-mobility.
The new building is a major financial project for the group, it will be expensive - but one should not expect monetary donations from the state in Wolfsburg.

VW electric car: VW Trinity plant should not be subsidized by the state of Lower Saxony
The new VW plant for the VW Trinity is to be built in Wolfsburg or in the Wolfsburg region.
Such a major project in Lower Saxony is also a concern for politics, especially since VW is one of the decisive economic factors in the region.
Now it has become public that VW cannot rely on financial support from the state of Lower Saxony for its new project.

Lower Saxony's Economics Minister Bernd Althusmann explained that subsidies of the new plant would not be standing in prospect.
Financial support is usually given to medium-sized companies, but this is less the case with corporations the size of VW, says Althusmann.
The lack of subsidies is a shame for VW, but does not change the fact that the VW electric cars of the Trinity series will soon be built in the Wolfsburg area.
The group recently presented its investment plan for the next few years.
Lower Saxony wants to support e-mobility at VW - VW electric cars should be built quickly
Bernd Althusmann made it
clear to
WirtschaftsWoche
that the lack of subsidies was not a sign of unwillingness to support VW. On the contrary: The Economics Minister of Lower Saxony spoke of supporting Volkswagen wherever possible - only large financial donations were not planned.
In particular with regard to the approval process, he announced that he wanted to accommodate the group.
VW wants its VW electric cars of the Trinity series to be built as soon as possible and has a tight schedule.
Althusmann stated that the state government and authorities would “do everything” to ensure that the Trinity plant can be built quickly.
Politicians want to support VW on the way to e-mobility.
Volkswagen plans to build the plant in no more than three years.
To do this, however, the group must first decide on a final location for the new building - it does not yet exist.
The new VW Trinity plant for the VW electric car is a declaration of war on Tesla
VW boss Herbert Diess recently stated that a faster exit from the internal combustion engine was “not feasible”.
However, there is one thing that you have to give the car manufacturer from Lower Saxony: Hardly anyone is taking such quick steps towards e-mobility as VW.
The new plant is a declaration of war on companies like Tesla - but VW does not want to say goodbye to the internal combustion engine completely and therefore has to put up with critical questions.
Time and again, observers asked how serious car manufacturers really are with the turnaround in traffic.

Still, Volkswagen is a pioneer in matters of e-mobility. The company is also ready to take unusual steps to retrain its employees in the production of VW electric cars. The car manufacturer has now installed an escape room in the VW factory in Zwickau - for training purposes.
For the future, VW is betting a lot on electromobility - although there are still problems with the technology, for example that e-cars often lose a lot of electricity when charging.
Even locations that have been underutilized to date, such as Osnabrück, may benefit from VW's new course in the future.
The production of e-convertibles could secure the future of the VW plant in Osnabrück.
For the time being, however, other plants have priority, for example in Zwickau or Emden.
However, none of the locations can ignore one project: the new VW plant for the Trinity series of electric cars.
