The organizers of the “Able” project at Tartous University aspire to embody higher education with experimental applied academic education through the slogan “Linking the University to Society” and to create a new pattern in the concept of university education based on the introduction of undergraduate students in the first year in the field of reference and cognitive research.

The project was launched at the beginning of 2019, according to Dr. Kida, where a decision was issued by the Council of the Faculty of Science and the Council of Tartous University to finance a project to manufacture a distilled water deionized and DNA device carried out by a team of 13 students from the first academic year of the departments of chemistry, physics and biology, whose effectiveness was later proven after The results of chemical and bacterial testing of samples resulting from the device at the Atomic Energy Authority in Damascus, in addition to the great demand for the project at the Damascus International Exhibition 2019, Syoss International Exhibition 2019, and Futana Tartous Exhibition 2019, where it won the prize for the exhibition.
The advantage of the project is that it does not need huge facilities to launch its work, and it is not restricted to a specific place according to Dr. Kida’s opinion, but rather cooperates with all private and governmental industrial facilities and workshops, research laboratories and academic expertise in all universities and governorates and experienced people to manufacture every idea according to its technical nature and specifications required in the right place her to reach the desired end product.
The student at the Faculty of Science in Tartous, and one of the team members, Raghad Hammoud, confirmed that her participation in the “Qaderoun” project since the first year was a wonderful start in her university life. It gave her self-confidence and learned through it the ability to organize time and a sense of responsibility towards work.
