At the wheel of a Mercedes small school bus, the driver lost control due to a sudden illness and crashed into a BMW in Unterschleissheim.
Unterschleißheim
- On Monday around 8:50 a.m., a 69-year-old drove a Mercedes minibus on the Münchner Ring in Unterschleißheim coming from Bundesstraße 13 in the direction of Le-Cres-Brücke.
His wife was still in the passenger seat in the vehicle.
At the height of the Valentinspark, the 69-year-old got into oncoming traffic to the left due to a sudden illness, reports the police.
Minibus crashes into BMW
He crashed into a 48-year-old BMW.
The BMW driver was slightly injured in the accident and was taken to hospital by the ambulance service for outpatient medical treatment.
The 69-year-old was also immediately brought to the hospital for inpatient treatment.
The 69-year-old's wife was unharmed.
Traffic police determined
Several thousand euros were damaged on both vehicles.
The Munich traffic police took over the further investigations.
