Not a day goes by without Söder's daughter Gloria Sophie making the world happy with interesting facts about her politician father.

Now the model even revealed what dad gets for Christmas.

- Markus Söder (54), Prime Minister of Bavaria and failed candidate for the office of Union Chancellor candidate in the last federal election, has been happy with his wife Karin for decades.

The two also have three children together.

But these are not the only offspring of the 1.94 meter tall Franconian.

From a brief liaison before his marriage, Söder has the daughter Gloria Sophie, whose last name is Burkandt, just like her mother.

The 22-year-old, who is also very tall at 1.85 meters, has caused a stir in recent months by revealing private details about her politician father or on her Instagram account, on which she likes to model herself labeled, positioned with strange statements.

In the meantime, Gloria has discovered another medium for herself to increase her popularity: the gossip press.

Since then, she has delighted the public almost every day with more and more details from her relationship with father Markus.

newspaper said Gloria now as proud of their dad was. "I've always been his biggest fan. He's a great politician and an attractive man with great charisma and impact," said the 22-year-old. As a model, she of course also likes to give him fashion tips. Söder's blue suits would look best, as they harmonized wonderfully with his complexion and graying hair. That's why she gives him a blue tie every Christmas. She could not give him any other items of clothing "he has to try them on". After all, she knows how difficult it is to find suitable clothing for tall people. However, Söder is not too vain. He doesn't have bespoke suits made, says Gloria. "He shops in the usual fashion stores."

Gloria likes to emphasize that she has a good relationship with her father, with whom she never grew up.

The otherwise so busy CSU man would talk to his daughter on the phone every day.

For her 23rd birthday next Friday, December 18, she would go out to dinner with her father.

Gloria, who is so thin herself that there has been speculation about her state of health, makes the surprising admission that she has a great weakness for schnitzel and potato salad.

However, she would enjoy this in moderation and had already advised her father to eat healthier food.

And apparently successfully.

"Dad has lost a bit of weight," says Gloria.
