Writer Nour Nadim Omran, in her sixth series, "Umayyad Al-Hawa", continues her mission in employing literature and advocacy in order to raise the status of spiritual values and liberation from material restrictions that restrict man.

The group that Imran signed today in the presence of writers and those interested in literary affairs in the activities hall in Dar al-Assad in Lattakia includes 81 creative texts that the writer inhabited according to her expression, the springs of her spirit and creativity hovering in the spaces of love and beauty.

Omran, who was known to readers as a storyteller and writer of theatrical scripts, told SANA reporter that she liked in this group to present various creative texts that freed her from literary naturalization, so that the group became a mixture of poetry and prose, noting that the title of the group was inspired by her passion for literature and ancient civilizations.

In the readings of the group, Dr. Laila Magrakouni saw that the title of the group “Umayyad Al-Hawa” indicates several considerations, the first of which is its strength and originality as an opening to an influential time period in our history, and the second is its meeting with the virginal love that was born in the same period, leaving different types of love stories, noting that the content of the group monitored a case Love is almost one-sided.

For her part, Dr. Rana Joni saw that the group is a female revelation of love and its whispers that we savor whenever the memory takes it back in order to live it again and resort to romance in an attempt to restore astonishment to the world, considering that the writer is dominated by emotional revelation, which was characterized by ease and smoothness.

Dr. Lara Steti spoke in her reading about the closeness of the Diwan pieces to the language of poetic prose, which added a beautiful dimension that made it inspire the poet to draw the features of her soul away from the familiar language at times and emulate that language at other times.

The collection, issued by Dar Arwad for printing and publishing, is in 120 pages of medium size.

The writer Nour Omran, who holds a Bachelor of Arts, Department of Arabic Language from Tishreen University and is preparing for a master’s thesis with the short story, has five short story collections, including “Love in the Time of Corona”, “Tashkeel” and “Loss Before Leaving”.
