The Director of the Syrian Trade Branch in Hama, Eng. Khaled Al-Fadhel, revealed that the branch’s sales during the current year have improved significantly over previous years, as they exceeded 16 billion pounds in the past 11 months of various materials.

Al-Fadhel explained in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the branch continues to sell frozen chicken in outlets and halls scattered in all regions of the governorate at a price of 7500 Syrian pounds per kilogram, which is much lower than the price circulating in the local market, with good quality and a health monitor, indicating that there is a great demand from citizens to buy chicken. Al-Fadhel indicated that the branch will soon offer apples in the halls of the Corporation at a competitive price, after it had rented during the last period about 75 tons from the governorate’s farmers directly and stored them in the refrigeration unit, adding that the branch had rented apples from the areas of Berchin, Akakir, Kafr Kamra, and Bashinin of good varieties of golden and starken.
