Vienna - Sana
The International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed that the agreement recently reached with Iran regarding the installation of new cameras at the Tsai nuclear complex was an important positive development.
An official statement issued by the agency stated that Tehran's agreement to install the new cameras in the complex instead of the damaged cameras at the Tsai nuclear complex in Karaj, west of Tehran, came against the background of the agreement between the head of the Iranian Nuclear Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi.
The agency added that this agreement also provides for the continuation of cooperation between Tehran and the IAEA within the framework of the safeguards agreement, with the aim of resolving outstanding issues in this regard.
