After the strike on the RER and Transilien networks, traffic will return to normal on Saturday. However, be careful on the road: Friday after

This end of the year is not easy for Ile-de-France travelers.

This Friday, a social movement at the SNCF will continue to disrupt the circulation of the RER and Transilien, where 4 out of 5 trains on average will run.

The strike should not continue on Saturday on the regional network.

On the other hand, on the TER and TGV lines, a national strike movement will begin on Saturday.

It is advisable to consult the SNCF websites and apps for precise information on the trains canceled at the departure and arrival of the major Parisian stations.

Also be careful if you plan to take the road to spend the Christmas holidays outside the Paris region.

This Friday afternoon, Île-de-France is classified orange by Bison smart, in the direction of departures.

It is advisable to leave or cross the region before 2 p.m. to avoid the heavy traffic jams.

The classification of Futé Bison for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is green at the national level.

But due to calls to strike on the TGV network, unusual traffic could clutter the roads and highways.

Metro line 4 closed on Sunday

On the Ile-de-France public transport side, little work is planned, and the weekend will be more or less normal on all networks.

However, the crowds could be significant near shopping centers and department stores, Saturday and Sunday, because of Christmas shopping.

A note: line 4 will be completely closed on Sunday between Porte de Clignancourt and Mairie de Montrouge, due to works to automate trains and the extension to the south to Bagneux.

On line 14, traffic is also interrupted from 10 p.m. Sunday.

On the RER and Transilien lines, few disruptions to report, except on line U, where train traffic will be interrupted on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 p.m.

On line L, from 11:40 pm, traffic will be stopped between Bécon les Bruyères and Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche Forêt de Marly and between Bécon les Bruyères and Versailles Rive Droite.

A replacement bus service will be put in place.
