It is raining tonight (Thursday) in the north and center of the country, and sometimes even accompanied by thunderstorms.
This, in preparation for a rainy and stormy weekend that awaits the residents of the country.
According to the Meteorological Service's forecast, tomorrow it will rain intermittently in the north and center, and possibly also in the northern Negev.
At the same time, the service warns of possible floods in the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea.
Snow is expected to fall at the Hermon site, but it has already been clarified that the site will be closed to visitors this weekend.

On Saturday the storm will intensify, and there is even a fear of flooding in the coastal plain.
However, rain in the central region is expected to weaken and stop by noon.
At the beginning of the week the weather will be slightly warmer, and it is expected to be partly cloudy to clear.
Alongside this, strong winds will blow from the afternoon, and fog may be felt in the south.
However, on Monday the truce will end and the storm will resume: along with considerable cooling, it has rained in the north, center and south, and there is a fear of flooding in the coastal plain and floods in the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea.
A skeleton has fallen on Mount Hermon, and possibly even on other peaks in the Golan, while sandstorms will occur in the south.
