The fire brigade * arrived at around 2 p.m. with around 70 emergency services.
Six extinguishing pipes and two turntable ladder vehicles were used, as well as 24 breathing apparatus.
A huge column of smoke had formed over the factory.
Therefore, the police * and the ambulance service were called in for support.
The emergency services got the main fire under control within an hour.

Nuremberg: hours of extinguishing work
However, the post-extinguishing work was complicated: Large parts of the facade had to be removed.
In addition, several entrances to the building were created to allow foam to be discharged.
That lasted until about 8 p.m.
An employee of the Nuremberg paper mill was slightly injured in the fire.
The emergency doctor treated him on site.
The fire department announced that there was no health risk for the residents due to the smoke from the fire.
