The new agreements regarding the entrance to the malls will be brought tomorrow (Sunday) for approval at the weekly cabinet meeting. Ministers are also expected to approve the new countries that will be included in the list of red countries - to which Israelis will be banned from flying.



According to the agreements announced last night, in malls and closed commercial areas, a tight purple mark will be applied immediately, according to the occupancy rate of one person per 15 square meters. Immunization stations will be set up in 50 main centers in the malls, and special benefits will be given to those who are vaccinated in the mall. In closed trading complexes it failed due to opposition and disagreements over its implementation.



In the coming days, the ministers will also examine the possibility of applying a green mark to any commercial building over 100 square meters. The issue will be discussed in the government, and after regulations are formulated, they will be submitted to a telephone poll by the Corona Cabinet.

In addition, the government is expected to approve tomorrow the updated list of red countries, to which flights by Israelis will be banned. The new countries to be included in the list are the United States, Canada, Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Hungary, Morocco and Belgium.



The Ministry of Health updated tonight that an additional 873 people were diagnosed with corona yesterday, out of 91,875 tested. This is an increase in the percentage of positive tests, which is 0.95. There was also an increase in the infection coefficient, which now stands at 1.11. As of this hour, 81 patients are defined as in critical condition, with 41 respirators. Since the outbreak of the plague, 8,232 people have died.



Last week, Prime Minister Bennett and Health Minister Horowitz agreed that vaccinated and recovering people who return to Israel from red countries will be able to sign the "agreement" after the Ben Gurion Airport inspection, thus maintaining the insulation at home and not in the hotel. The test at Ben Gurion Airport, after which they will be transferred to home isolation for a week. Currently, all countries in the world that are not defined as red are defined as orange.
