A royal shopping spree: In Montecito, Duchess Meghan went looking for the last Christmas presents almost unnoticed.

Montecito - Duchess Meghans (40) and Prince Harry's (37) adopted home of California are teeming with paparazzi who absolutely want to get the royal dropouts in front of the lens.

Because nothing escapes the photographer, Meghan's latest excursion did not go unnoticed, as reported by 24royal.de.

Since Christmas is getting closer, Duchess Meghan apparently wanted to get one or the other present.

The 40-year-old was photographed on a shopping trip through Montecito.

Meghan tried her best not to attract attention - to no avail.

Despite her long brown coat, her knitted hat pulled down over her face and the large sunglasses, the paparazzi noticed her.

A bodyguard and a chauffeur kept Duchess Meghan company on her shopping trip (symbol picture).

As the British Daily Mail reports, Prince Harry's wife visited several shops on her shopping trip.

Duchess Meghan, who last appeared in front of the cameras for the talk show by Ellen DeGeneres (63), had, among other things, stopped at the delicatessen store Pierre LaFond & Co., which sells clothing, home decorations and more in addition to food.

She also went to a boutique for children's clothing, but she did not find anything here.

So what will be under the tree in the Sussex house remains a secret.

Duchess Meghan: family celebration far from the crown

Harry and Meghan will not travel to England for this year's Christmas, but will celebrate together with their children Archie (2) and Lilibet (6 months) in the USA.

Queen Elizabeth II (95) has meanwhile canceled her traditional Christmas lunch.

The palace has not yet announced whether the family reunion at Sandringham House on Christmas Eve will take place as planned.
