For the 68-year-old, death was not really unexpected because he suffered from an incurable cancer.

The 68-year-old is "lucky" in misfortune.

“Of that, 1,500 euros are paid for by the social welfare office and the rest is paid for by the pastor,” Peter explains to his friend Tino on the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

In addition, everything has already been settled in the event of his death.

His urn is then brought to a public place in the church where everyone can say goodbye to him.

Both have known each other for 12 years and due to the age difference of over 20 years, a father-son relationship has developed between them.

Peter himself seems to have come to terms with his imminent demise.

“Since I've known (where he'll go after death) I'm no longer afraid of death.

When I get there, I know I'm in good hands.

I've settled everything.

I now live my life anew every day.

The days that I still have, I live, ”says the pensioner.

It is not known how many days the 69-year-old had between that day and his death.

But he will leave a deep hole in his family, friends and fans.
