For his part, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan expressed his hope that the announcement of the (major event) will allow to avoid disruptions in front-line services and activate the vaccination campaign with the third dose booster against Corona virus infection, noting that Omicron has quickly become a dominant boom with the marked increase in the number of infections and patients in hospitals. .
According to the latest data of the World Health Organization, Omicron has been monitored in 89 countries on all continents until now.
