A convenience store robbery occurred in Yau Ma Tei. At about 10 pm today (18th), a local man in his 30s broke into a 7.11 convenience store at No. 56 Bi Street and showed a knife to scared female staff and ordered her to open the cash register. The plane immediately hijacked more than 2,700 yuan, and then fled without a trace along Dongfang Street.
The police arrived at the scene to intercept the culprit but to no avail. Later, a knife was seized 70 meters away from the street near the Cityview International Hotel, which was believed to have been thrown away when the culprit escaped.

The police said that a 57-year-old woman surnamed Yuan was reported to the police at 10:36 p.m., stating that a man suspected of holding a sledgehammer to threaten the victim and robbed the victim of about 2,700 yuan in cash.
The man fled afterwards.
The officers arrived at the scene. After preliminary investigation, the case was robbed and handed over to the 9th Team of the Criminal Investigation Team of the Yau Tsim Police District for follow-up. No one has been arrested for the time being.
