A convenience store robbery occurred in Yau Ma Tei. At about 10 pm today (18th), a local man in his 30s broke into a 7.11 convenience store at No. 56 Bi Street and showed a knife to scared female staff and ordered her to open the cash register. The plane robbed him of more than 5,000 yuan, and then fled without a trace along Dongfang Street.
The police arrived at the scene to intercept the culprit but to no avail. Later, a knife was seized 70 meters away from the street near the Cityview International Hotel, which was believed to have been thrown away when the culprit escaped.
