Bamberg / Ansbach - According to the police, more than 15,000 people protested against the corona measures in various places in the Free State on Saturday.

On the whole, it remained peaceful, but according to the police, an officer was slightly injured in Traunstein.

In Traunstein, one of the 1200 or so protesters was sent off for not wearing the prescribed mask, said a spokesman for the Upper Bavaria South Police Headquarters.

Another man then attacked the officers and slightly injured one of them.

There was also a demonstration against the Corona measures in Passau.

In Ansbach, according to the police, the number of participants rose to 4,200 in the course of the event. Since the order to wear at least medical masks was not followed by a large number at the beginning, the police temporarily stopped the train, it said.

In addition, about 200 people wanted to leave the assembly line in the direction of the city center, which the police suppressed with, among other things, evictions.

Demonstration march moves through the city in Augsburg without permission

According to the police, around 2,300 people gathered in Augsburg at the registered event, but hundreds more marched through the city as a demonstration march without permission.

According to estimates by the police, around 2,400 people were at the rally in Regensburg against the opponents of the Corona measures.

According to the police, 2,300 critics gathered in Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate, and around 500 people met under the motto "Solidarity with the nursing staff".

In Bamberg, opponents of the measures gathered between 1800 and 2000, as a police spokesman said.

There was also a counter-meeting with around 500 people.

There were also meetings with up to a few hundred participants in other cities and municipalities in the Free State.
