The National Institute of Health in Italy announced today that the Omicron mutated from the Corona virus is spreading at a rapid pace after discovering new infections in the north and south of the country.
And the Reuters news agency quoted the institute as saying in a statement that its network of laboratories in the Italian regions had so far detected 84 cases of Omicron, a marked increase from 55 cases recorded yesterday morning.
Yesterday, Italy recorded 120 deaths and 28,632 cases of corona.
