Rif Dimashq-SANA
Rif Dimashq Governorate today reopened Harasta Road, running a ramp, passing through the Vehicles Department, and reaching the towns of Eastern Ghouta.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Adnan Al-Wazza, the head of the local council in Harasta, explained that the reopening of this road facilitates the access of residents, students, and economic and commercial activities to the three towns, Eastern Ghouta and Damascus, as it restores the vitality and activity of the aforementioned line and shortens the distance and the suffering of the residents.
Al-Wazza pointed out that the residents of the aforementioned towns used to take the agricultural road previously, so its opening was an urgent and vital necessity for the entire region, explaining that the necessary maintenance was carried out on the road, including the filling and settlement of all tunnels that were dug within it by terrorist organizations.
Al-Wazza hoped that the road between Harasta and Damascus would be opened, passing through the Damascus Countryside Transport Directorate, due to its importance in bringing citizens to the Transportation Directorate, the Traffic and Criminal Security Branch, the Adra Industrial City and the industrial zone in Tel Kurdi.
