In several cities in the southwest, demonstrators have demonstrated against the corona measures, against contact restrictions and the planned mandatory vaccination.
According to the police, around 3,500 participants marched through the city center in Freiburg on Saturday afternoon.
300 people gathered there for a counter-demonstration.
However, it was largely peaceful, with almost all demonstrators adhering to the conditions, as a police spokesman confirmed.
Freiburg / Göppingen - Only occasionally had to be expelled for violating the mask requirement.
The emergency services prevented individual blockade attempts by counter-demonstrators.
According to police estimates, there were also 2,000 opponents of the Corona measures on the street in Überlingen in the Lake Constance district.
Everything was calm, peaceful and cooperative, said a spokesman.
In Karlsruhe around 900 people marched through the city center against the compulsory vaccination, in Pforzheim around 450. Both meetings were peaceful.

Hundreds of people came together for an AfD rally in Göppingen.
AfD parliamentary group leader Alice Weidel compared the protest movement against the measures of the pandemic with the Monday demonstrations in the GDR.
"This movement comes from the people, from the citizens from the middle of society - just like 32 years ago in the GDR," she said in her speech on Saturday.
Alex Maier, the green mayor of the city of Göppingen, gathered with a handful of counter-demonstrators on the sidelines of the AfD rally.
He wanted to show a clear edge, he said.
He sees the task of politics in talking to people, educating them and getting them to vaccinate.
"I think that a large part of the team that is here can no longer be won over," said Maier.
The district of Göppingen initially limited the rally to 150 vaccinated, recovered and tested people.
On Friday evening, the Stuttgart Administrative Court suspended both conditions, as the German Press Agency announced on Friday evening.
