In the program “Riverboat”, actress Barbara Wussow tells her unusual “dream ship” anecdote.

She flew onto the wrong island on the way to filming.

So also in the last episode on Friday (December 17th).

Because as Fischer revealed, there was a funny incident on ZDF * in 2018 - "Traumschiff *".

She relates: The episode in which actress Barbara Wussow climbed onto the ship with a rope ladder was actually not foreseen in the script.

In fact, this scene came about relatively spontaneously, triggered by a funny mishap.

Because the “dream ship” crew turned in distant countries until the corona pandemic, in which the “MS Amadea” was not allowed to leave Bremerhaven.

This episode was about the islands of Cape Verde.

Barbara Wussow says: “My arrival was very spectacular.

After we shot in the Maldives, the land shoot, I was flown to the Cape Verde Islands.

And just flew to the wrong island. "

Barbara Wussow remembers the nightly action

“It was Sal Dere or Sal - and the style is very similar. Then I was on the wrong island, on Sal. So I called the production team and said: 'Where am I going now?' ", Remembers Wussow. The team then told the actress that she just had to walk down a jetty and up the ladder onto the ship. But Wussow saw neither the ship nor the landing stage, she recalls with a laugh. “So I was all alone in a small village. Then I waited from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the evening and in the evening I went over with a fishing boat with an old man ... he went straight to the open sea in the middle of the night. ”He drove for about 20 minutes, Wussow set to music: "Tucker, tucker, tucker".

And continues: “I thought: where are we going?

At some point there came a small point on the horizon, which then got bigger and then it was the MS Amadea that took a big detour, so drove eight hours to get to the other island and then pick me on the open sea. "

"Dream ship": Spontaneous action succeeds

But that wasn't all, because the 60-year-old had to get on the ship somehow - in a down coat and with a handbag.

“The hatch opened and there was the whole ZDF team.

[...] Then the rope ladder came down. ”While the fishing boat and the“ MS Amadea ”both drove slowly on, Barbara Wussow climbed the“ dream ship ”.

She says: "I did it so well that the ship, which was standing still three days later, was shot in a harbor in the sunshine."

Without this strange detour, fans would never have seen the episode in this form.
