The Babila district police arrested a person defrauding the war-wounded and the families of the martyrs under the pretext of securing services for them.
In a statement, the Ministry of Interior stated that SANA received a copy of it, that one of the citizens claimed to the Babila district police in Damascus countryside that a person defrauded him with an amount of ten million Syrian pounds under the pretext of securing a booth license and a car plate for his injured brother after he was delusional that he was an army officer.
The ministry stated that, through research and investigation, the policemen were able to arrest him and it was found that he was called “Aziz. Kh.” He is a civilian and does not have any military status. By interrogating him, he confessed that he had defrauded the aforementioned citizen and other people, impersonating an army officer, claiming that he had Influential and able to secure licenses for kiosks and car plates for the injured and the families of the martyrs.
The ministry indicated that by examining his situation, it was found that there were several radio stations that investigated him for the crime of fraud, theft and impersonation of security, and the necessary action was taken against him, and he will be submitted to the competent judiciary.
