A third complaint for sexual assault was known this Friday against actor Chris Noth, from the
Sex and the City series,
who has denied the first two accusations against him, assuring that they were consensual encounters.
A 30-year-old tech executive alleged in a report in The Daily Beast that she was sexually assaulted by the actor when she was 18 years old and was working as a host and singer at the Da Marino restaurant in Midtown Manhattan
in 2010
.
The journalist who wrote the article indicates that the woman complaining is a close friend of hers who told her about the alleged incident a day after it occurred.
The first two accusations had been revealed Thursday in a report published by The Hollywood Reporter.

in two separate incidents in 2004 and 2015

One woman claims she was assaulted at her West Hollywood apartment in 2004 and the other at her Greenwich Village, New York home in 2015.
North, 67, who starred in
Sex and the City
and later appeared briefly in its newly released sequel
And Just Like That
..., has denied the allegations.

“The accusations against me made by people I knew years, even decades ago,
are categorically false

These stories could have happened 30 years ago or 30 days ago, it does not always mean no, that is a line that I did not cross, "Noth said in a statement to the Reporter.
"It's hard not to question when these stories came out. I don't know for sure why they are coming up now, but I do know this: I
didn't assault these women," she
said.

One of the complainants, who appears in the media under the pseudonym Zoe and who is now 40 years old, alleges that she was attacked
when she was 22 years old.
She had met Noth because he did business with the company she worked for, according to the newspaper.
A friend of hers, who is not identified in the article, told the Reporter that she took Zoe to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where she told staff that she had been assaulted and was being treated for an injury.
The Los Angeles Police Department checked for an open investigation implicating Noth but
found none,
said Police Sgt. Hector Guzman.
The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's special victims office also has no open investigation, said Sheriff's Capt. Richard Ruiz.

The other woman, who is now 31 and appears under the pseudonym Lily in the article, said she met the actor when she was 25 and was working as a waitress at a New York nightclub.
She said that she cried and felt "violated" when he abruptly began the sexual relationship.
"He couldn't separate the actor from the man and the man is a sexual predator."

The accusations led to a forceful online message from

who worked with Noth when he was starring in the
Law & Order series
and she was invited.
