On the stage of the Culture Palace in Homs, Corala Hanin and Helm sent a greeting to the soul of the late artist Mayada Bsilis, through a choral evening entitled “Between us live” and the musical direction of Maestro Maher Roumieh.
The evening program varied between a variety of songs of Al-Rahila, which uniquely made her artistic career and gave her a distinctive character, in addition to religious hymns and Gregorian and patriotic songs, accompanied by musicians Zulfikar Salloum on piano, Ghanem Abdel Hamid on the lute and Muhammad Shehadeh on the picnic.
The evening started with the performance of two songs, Silence and a Word, by Hanin’s choir, followed by a variety of Christmas songs, “Every year and we are lovers, and tonight is a birthday” performed by a choir Helm.
The hymn “I See You My God” collected the voices of the choirs to continue presenting the songs of the artist Mayada, “Your Lie is Sweet,” “Khalini Heik,” “Ya Tayyub,” and “Ya Qalli” Wahdi Without Rafiq, in addition to a number of songs from the series’ badges, to conclude the evening with the song “Ya Ghaly.”
Amin Roumieh, head of the branch of the Artists Syndicate in Homs, considered in a statement to SANA reporter that the late artist Mayada Bsailis specialized in a lyric line committed to the morals of the Syrian human being, and during her career she presented a fine art that we are currently in dire need of, and this is what made her occupy a prominent place in the hearts of artists and the public.
Dr. Noha Bashour, founder and director of the choir, explained that the evening was presented at the theaters of Aleppo, Lattakia and Tartous, and it concludes today in Homs. Any simulation of specific Arabic schools or songs.
The evening included the screening of a documentary film about Mayada's artistic career, the most prominent stations of her life, excerpts from her interviews during her concerts, and testimonies of a number of her fans.
It is noteworthy that the Hanin and Helm choir was founded in 2010 and has a number of 110 members and has performed more than 30 concerts and has nearly 220 songs distributed in its archives.
