Saturday in Sendling: What was going on there?

Three large-scale operations by the police and fire brigade were necessary in Plinganserstrasse.

Munich - One street, three dramas: the madness started on Saturday morning at 8.45 a.m.

A 69-year-old was driving his VW Passat out of town on Plinganserstraße.

According to the police, he tried to turn around at the intersection with Lindenschmidstrasse - and drove left over a solid mark.

The 69-year-old overlooked a VW driver next to him in the second lane, who could no longer brake with his Golf.

Three large fire brigade operations in Pilsangerstraße: car lands on roof after an accident

Both cars collided, the force of the Golf was first tipped over on its left side and finally landed on the roof.

According to the police, the car had thrown meters across both opposite lanes and rammed two other cars there.

According to the police, there was at least 25,000 euros in property damage, which is likely to be even greater.

As a result of the accident, the 54-year-old suffered multiple bruises and a vertebral body fracture.

The 69-year-old got away with scratches.

Both had to go to the clinic for treatment.

Fiat suddenly starts to burn

At 11:18 a.m. the next shock: A Fiat caught fire in Plinganserstrasse and the fire brigade had to extinguish it.

A woman had driven the small car and had to stop because it suddenly smoked under the hood.

The fire brigade was busy extinguishing the fire for 20 minutes.

The driver of the Fiat and her son were uninjured.

Shortly after midnight, the third mission in Plinganserstrasse: an Advent wreath was burning in an apartment.

The flames spread to the apartment.

A neighbor of the apartment building noticed the triggered smoke alarm and the smell of fire in the stairwell and called the fire brigade.

In the end, the emergency services had to break open the door because nobody opened the door in the apartment on fire.

The wreath was extinguished within minutes.

Fortunately, despite the fire, no one was injured.
