The Russian army confirmed that the Turkish Bayraktar drones are an easy target to shoot down with Pantsir missiles, and the air defense system can follow it from the moment of takeoff to landing.
Deputy Commander of the Air Defense Forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Yury Moravkin, told Russia 1 channel, "The Bayraktar TB2 marches, due to their size and speed, constitute an easy target for the Russian Pantsir, and that there is no difficulty in shooting them down."
For his part, the head of the Department for the Construction and Development of the Drone System in the Russian General Staff, Alexander Novikov, indicated that the unique Russian Bastion system monitors in real time the flight of all drones near the country's borders, especially in the conflict zone in southeastern Ukraine.
