The "
inflation compensation
" of 100 euros, announced in October and intended for 38 million people, began to be paid since last Monday.
But in an interview
with the Parisian
, the director of Urssaf, Yann-Gaël Amghar, points to a crucial problem for its payment: "
we are missing the bank details of 500,000 self-employed and 500,000 employees at home
".

Urssaf is in fact in charge of distributing this bonus directly to the self-employed and to home-based employees, which represents no less than 3 million people.
“
Of the 3.8 million self-employed (including self-employed), half can benefit from it.
That is to say, they earn less than 2000 euros net per month.
Among home-based employees, more than 90% are eligible, or around 900,000 people,
”said Yann-Gaël Amghar.
According to him, a first payment was made last Wednesday to 660,000 self-employed workers and inflation compensation will be paid to 380,000 home workers on Monday and 700,000 autoentrepreneurs on Wednesday.
But to be able to make the payment, the organization absolutely needs the bank details of the beneficiaries.
“
Concretely, we lack the banking information of 500,000 self-employed and 500,000 home-based employees.
If the people eligible for the bonus do not communicate their bank details to us, they will not receive the 100 euros,
”warns the director of Urssaf.

A relaunch campaign has already been sent by email or mail to home employees and a new one will be launched in early January for the self-employed.
“
The idea we have adopted is to pay as quickly as possible, in December, to those for whom we have all the bank details.
And to make waves of subsequent payments for others,
”explains Yann-Gaël Amghar, director of Urssaf.
