4 new infections with Omicron in India

New Delhi, SANA- The Ministry of Health in the Indian state of Kerala has recorded 4 new cases of the Omicron mutated coronavirus.

The Ministry of Health in the Indian state of Kerala recorded 4 new cases of the Omicron mutant of the Corona virus, bringing the total number of infections to 15.

The Ministry stated in a statement today that two cases of Omicron were discovered for two patients, aged between 41 and 67 years, and two cases of the same mutant were discovered for a 32-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman.

It is noteworthy that India discovered the first case of Omicron on the 12th of this month in the Ernakulam region, when it was confirmed that a person who had returned from the United Kingdom was infected.
