Alfons Schuhbeck (72), the problems are up to his neck: First he had to file for bankruptcy, then the public prosecutor charged him with tax offenses, and he will soon have to go to court - because former business partners are also demanding money.

Now the star chef has to go to court because there is trouble with previous business partners
Munich - December 7th was a crucial day for Alfons Schuhbeck (72). On that day, the Munich District Court I had a trial against the star chef. In a civil legal dispute, a former business partner demanded around 7,000 euros from Schuhbeck - according to the court, it was about a loan. But there is also said to be a
controversial deal
behind
it, which involves a six-figure sum.
But in the end Alfons Schuhbeck did not even have the opportunity to comment on the dispute - because the judge fell ill at short notice.
The
process has
now been
postponed to March 15, 2022
.
A time in which Schuhbeck can collect himself in peace.
Because the coming year is unlikely to be easy for the star chef.
He is also threatened with
criminal proceedings for tax evasion
.
The Munich I public prosecutor's office already
brought charges
in November
.
It should be about several million euros.
If convicted, Schuhbeck is even threatened with imprisonment - similar to Uli Hoeneß earlier.

In terms of finances, the chef has now cleaned up a bit.
Although he had to file for bankruptcy
for three of his companies
, investors have now stepped in and saved Schuhbeck: A new company was founded for him that can now even take over all 90 affected employees - good news just before Christmas.

For the star chef, it is still uncomfortable in court.
His tax proceedings could be negotiated as early as the spring, if the regional court allows the indictment.
He will also not be able to avoid the civil trial in March - because the fronts have hardened in the dispute over the large amount of money.
After all, the former businessman is currently the only one suing Schuhbeck for money.
However, as part of the insolvency proceedings, there are still various creditors who are demanding higher amounts.
The fact that the new company will continue for Schuhbeck also has to do with the fact that the creditors see a higher chance of getting at least part of their claims back with the continuation of the business.
