Altenerding parish donates 1500 euros to the BRK's heartfelt vehicle

The volunteer hearted wish mobile of the BRK district association Erding fulfills the wishes of people in the last phase of life.

Sometimes it is the wish to be able to say goodbye to loved ones by driving them there.

But sometimes the wish is also a journey to a place that is associated with wonderful memories.

All wishes that can be fulfilled are absolutely free of charge for those affected and their relatives. In order for the Red Cross to be able to offer it like this, it depends on donations. The Altenerding parish knew about this and organized its annual Christmas campaign accordingly. The otherwise larger event was limited to the sale of Advent wreaths due to the corona situation.

The chairwoman of the Altenerding parish council, Anna-Lisa Burgmair, smiled at the handover of the donation and so did the recipients.

A proud sum of 1,504 euros was raised from the sale of the Advent wreaths.

The director and initiator of the Herzenswunschmobil Iris Menzinger and the first deputy chairman of the BRK, Andreas Lindner, were very happy to receive the donation.

“We are very grateful for any amount.

The donation from the Altenerding parish helps us a lot, ”says Lindner.

Iris Menzinger already knows what the donation will be used for.

There are cuddly pillows that should be given to the passengers and bed linen is required.

The money also goes into vehicle maintenance and is used for costs that arise during a trip.

These are, for example, food or entrance fees.
