Today, the police of Al-Furqalus district in Homs governorate arrested a gang of four people who had stolen homes and recovered some of the stolen items.
The Ministry of the Interior stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the policemen of Al-Furqalus district in the eastern countryside of Homs, after receiving several complaints from citizens that their homes had been robbed, were able to arrest a gang of four people, “Ziad M.,” “Jaafar M.” and “Mohammed.” M” and “Khaled M” after setting up an ambush for them.
The statement added that by interrogating the arrested, they confessed to stealing citizens' homes, and some of the stolen items were recovered, which included "two motorcycles, three million Syrian pounds, 2,205 US dollars, 100 Qatari riyals, and two mobile phones."
The statement pointed out that the necessary seizure has been organized and the stolen items have been handed over to their original owners, and those arrested will be transferred to the competent judiciary.
