When the gate of a family in Ebstorf was open, a bitch took the opportunity and went on an excursion.
This ended in Uelzen.
Ebstorf - Although Mia has never taken a train in her life, the eleven-year-old pinscher took the train from Ebstorf to Uelzen on Monday, December 20, 2021.
Before that, Mia had escaped from her family's farm - probably because the gate was open.
After the short ride on the regional train, federal police officers in Uelzen picked them up.
It was more difficult for the policemen to identify the owner of the runaway.
They sent a photo of Mia to their colleagues in Ebstorf, and they forwarded it to an animal care station.
There an employee recognized the dog of a family friend.
The owners actually thought their dog had taken an afternoon nap.
They drove straight to Uelzen to pick up Mia.
