A security prisoner attacked a staff member at Nafha Prison near Mitzpe Ramon today (Monday).

The incident is under investigation.

The prisoner is seeking medical treatment at the unit's clinic, his condition is mild.

The attack took place in the Hamas wing and the prisoners were brought under control.
