Sure enough, it is a famous brand of waterproof material technology!

Gore-Tex delivered excellent performance in this test.

The test products of The North Face, Patagonia and Arc'teryx used Gore-Tex technology, and got a perfect score of 5 in waterproof performance.

In the two sub-items of waterproof performance, 3 products got a perfect score of 5 for impermeability and 4 points for water resistance, which was tied for the highest score in this test.

The North Face's Apex Flex GTX 2.0 scored 5 points in waterproof performance.

A good waterproof windbreaker jacket, in addition to waterproofing, air permeability is very important.

If the ventilation is poor, the sweat and moisture on the surface of the skin will be difficult to drain, and it will be easy to get soaked and feel irritated and uncomfortable.

Therefore, the biggest challenge of waterproof technology is to prevent the water droplets from penetrating outside the clothes on the one hand, and to let the moisture inside the clothes drain away on the other side to keep the skin surface comfortable.

Many outdoor clothing will use Gore-Tex waterproof technology.

In this test, Gore-Tex also showed good air permeability.

The North Face, Patagonia and Arc'teryx test products also scored 4 points in air permeability, tied for the second highest score of all products, and the Bigpack Volcano (approximately priced at 2499 yuan) with a 4.5 point.

Bigpack's test product claims to use WR-Vantage waterproof technology. Although the air permeability is the highest, the waterproof performance is only 3.5 points, and the water resistance is only 1 point at the end of the package.

In addition to windbreaker jackets, hiking shoes will use Gore-Tex waterproof technology.

Summarizing this test, among the products with perfect waterproof performance, 3 models (The North Face, Patagonia and Arc'teryx) using Gore-Tex technology have the highest air permeability; and none of the products with higher air permeability than Gore-Tex The water resistance is comparable.

It can be seen from this test that Gore-Tex is still leading the waterproof technology of outerwear.

Gore-Tex is a well-known waterproof and breathable technology.
