The Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Sattar Al-Sayed, during his meeting today with the teams working in the project to develop the curricula of Islamic education, stressed the importance of this pioneering experience of joint work and concerted efforts that yielded a pioneering national product that became a reality through its teaching in religious institutions.
Minister Al-Sayed indicated during the meeting, which was held at the “Irshad” specialized rehabilitation center in the Ministry of Awqaf, on the occasion of the end of work on the project, that this work is patriotic with distinction, carried out by the hands and expertise of the Ministries of Higher Education, Education and Endowments, and it reflects true Islam, as the curricula are based on correcting concepts on issues Contemporary intellectual and based on the purposes of Islamic Sharia without deviation from the constants of religion and away from extremism and extremism.
The audience’s interventions focused on the project’s role in scientific and intellectual construction, as Dr. Muhammad Waheed Siam, former Dean of the Faculty of Education at Damascus University, and Dr. Taher Salloum, former Dean of the Faculty of Education, gave interventions about the stages the project went through, authoring processes and educational evaluation.
Khaled Al-Taweel, Senior Instructor of Islamic Education, Lina Al-Dhiab, English Language Instructor at the Ministry of Education, and Ruba Nasr, Islamic Education Instructor in Daraa and Sweida, spoke about this common experience in developing curricula and its benefits for students.
