The group, which mixes opera with pop and performs songs of different genres, announced on Twitter at the beginning of December the cancellation of some of its presentations due to what it referred to as a "disease" but without giving further details.
On December 16, the group revealed that Marín was in the hospital.
"Our dear friend and partner Carlos is in the hospital. We hope and pray for a speedy recovery," they said on their Twitter account.
