The operation of the judicial police (PJ) of Creil took place Thursday, December 16 in the city of Oise after several months of investigation

Investigations by investigators from the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI) of the Criminal Investigation Department (SPJ) of Creil (Oise) had lasted for nearly a year.

Last week, the latter ended up putting an end to the actions of a network of heroin traffickers established in Compiègne, by carrying out seven arrests and seizing 10 kg of heroin, according to the public prosecutor, Marie- Céline Lawrysz.

As early as January 2021, the PJ of Creil had been seized by the Compiègne public prosecutor's office of a preliminary investigation relating to a drug trafficking network.

The first weeks of investigations will then make it possible to identify the protagonists of the network as well as the scope of it.

The traffickers thus led a sumptuous way of life, ensured by trafficking and the laundering of drug money.

It was by controlling and operating underground gambling halls that criminals managed to hide the origin of the money from the sale of heroin.
