Berlin's new governing mayor Franziska Giffey (SPD) has appointed her ten senators.
The six women and four men received their certificates on Tuesday in the coat of arms hall of the Red City Hall.
And that on December 21st, as Giffey emphasized, “the day when the days get lighter again”.
Berlin - The SPD has four senate members.
The previous Senator for the Interior, Andreas Geisel, will be responsible for urban development, construction and housing in the future.
His successor in the interior department will be the deputy state chairwoman Iris Spranger.
The former president of the Berlin Chamber of Crafts, Stephan Schwarz, is responsible for the economic department, the headmistress Astrid-Sabine Busse is responsible for the education department.
