(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 21 - "With the presidency of the G20 Italy has shown that it has the ability to influence the European and transatlantic debate and every embassy can have a role if it projects itself into this horizon, in the EU and in the link with the allies Americans betting on dialogue and multilateralism ".
The Deputy Foreign Minister Marina Sereni said this to ANSA on the sidelines of the Conference of Ambassadors and Ambassadors.
Marina Sereni recalled that Italy, after the G20, will have two other important presidencies: that of the Council of Europe, a key body on the issue of human rights and the rule of law, and the presidency of the OECD: a format with great economies in which - underlined the Deputy Minister - we will have to "discuss the parameters for dealing with the public debt in the near future, which is a very important issue for Italy".
