In the Saarbrücken trial for a murder more than 30 years ago, the regional court sentenced the two defendants to life imprisonment.
The judges assumed on Tuesday a jointly and insidiously committed murder.
The victim's body has not yet been found.
The alleged third accomplice had committed suicide in prison in January 2021.
Saarbrücken - In a farewell letter, he confessed to the deed of the three men.
Accordingly, in September 1991 the trio lured a then 27-year-old from Völklingen into a forest near Wadgassen, killed him and buried it in a pit.
The defense had demanded acquittal for their clients, while the public prosecutor's office pleaded for life imprisonment.
