(Hymns of Love and Peace) in Al-Hasakah Cultural Celebrating Christmas and New Year

“Hymns of Love and Peace” is a celebration organized by the Directorates of Culture and Tourism and the Eastern Region Tourism Chamber, in cooperation with the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese of the Jazira and the Euphrates, on the stage of the Cultural Center in the city of Al-Hasakah, in celebration of Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

The celebration, presented by the Syriac Heritage Revival Committee, included religious hymns, artistic and theatrical paragraphs from the heritage of the Syrian island, and a variety of patriotic songs that called for spreading the values ​​of love and goodness and calls for peace to prevail throughout Syria.

The Director of Culture, Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the celebration aims to bring joy and happiness to the people of Al-Hasakah city at the end of the directorate’s activities for the current year, as its content varied between artistic paragraphs, folkloric dances, national and heritage songs, in addition to a theatrical performance on Eid rituals on the Syrian island. .

The official of the Syriac Heritage Revival Committee, Silva Al-Asia, indicated that in celebration of Christmas and New Year's Day, the celebration was organized, which included artistic, lyrical and dance performances presented by Ornasha groups for Syriac singing, Nabada for folklore, and Nabada for theater, as an expression of the love of Syria and its peace-loving people.

A theatrical art segment was presented that talks about the customs and traditions that accompany the Christmas atmosphere, the foods that the women manufacture in a beautiful cooperative atmosphere, and details that show the love and brotherhood that characterize the Syrian people.
