Since Aleppo’s victory over terrorism and its defeat five years ago, the Syrian Institution for Internal Trade in Aleppo continues its horizontal expansion by opening more halls and sales centers with the aim of achieving positive intervention in the markets, providing consumables and distributing materials according to the electronic card, where the number of its halls and centers has reached 87 halls and centers in the city. and countryside.

Talal Faour, director of the branch of the Syrian Institution for Internal Trade in Aleppo, indicated to SANA reporter that 12 sales centers were rehabilitated and put into service during the current year and provided with various consumable materials, in addition to continuing to distribute subsidized materials according to the electronic card, as well as distributing materials through cooperative societies and a number of government institutions where they were provided With eighty electronic card devices, bringing the number of sales outlets to 150 outlets to distribute the subsidized materials, while work continues to put more centers in service within the 2022 plan.

He pointed to the activity of the Foundation's halls during sales seasons such as the blessed month of Ramadan and holidays, with the opening of schools and in the winter season, in addition to providing loans in installments for state workers to purchase carpets and rugs, and providing food baskets in installments on holidays through the establishment of exhibitions on specific days.

In the Al Akramiya Syrian Trade Hall, Khaled Shaaban, the hall manager, spoke about the launch of work in the hall following the liberation of Aleppo from terrorism five years ago, and its provision of various food and consumer items, school supplies and stationery, pointing out that the expansion works that were carried out recently led to the expansion of the sales process to include more goods and electrical appliances. Household, detergents, fruits, vegetables, meat and subsidized materials according to the electronic card to serve the neighboring neighborhoods, such as Seif Al-Dawla, Adhamiya, Al-Akramiya, Al-Hamdaniya and Al-Furqan. Direct sales are also carried out in the hall to produce farmers from vegetables and fruits at competitive prices.

In the editorial hall in the city center, Ghada Al-Kun, the director of the hall, indicated that since the liberation of Aleppo from terrorism, new consumer goods have been introduced and the field of sale has expanded at competitive prices, such as reducing the prices of carpets and selling in installments at rates up to 40 percent and selling household items and electrical appliances to serve the neighborhoods of Aziziyah, Al-Siryan, the old Manshiyya and Baghdad Station. In addition to distributing subsidized items of rice and sugar, in the amount of 400 requests per day, via the electronic card.

In Al-Adhamiya warehouses for the Syrian Trade, Jamil Shabu, the packaging supervisor, talked about the work of packaging sugar and rice to be distributed according to the electronic card in the Syrian trade halls, where more than 35 tons of the two materials are packaged daily.
