After a very difficult year for the Monaco Royals, Charlène is now releasing the official Christmas card.
It is very different from usual.
Monaco - Every year at Christmas, the royal families publish Christmas greetings.
The photo cards go out to selected people and are eagerly awaited by the fans of the Royals.
In some cases, it's the only time of the year you can see the royals' children.
Or, as in Belgium, everyone can finally be seen in one photo again.
Charlène of Monaco cannot attend public Christmas parties
Little by little, the families from Sweden, England, Spain and Belgium wish you a happy festive season. So far, however, there was still one card missing: the one from Monaco. The question was how it would look at all. Because Princess Charlène spent most of the year not with her family, but in South Africa. She struggled with her health and had to undergo multiple operations for an ENT disease. Then she came back to Monaco for a short time, but was quickly taken to a secret location away from the royal family.
While her children Jacques and Gabriella and husband Prince Albert attended the palace's traditional Christmas party, she was absent.
It is not clear whether the family will see each other on the holidays.
But now Charlène von Monaco has published her very own Christmas greeting.
Not a photo, but a drawing, shared the 43-year-old on her Instagram channel.
Charlène of Monaco sends Christmas greetings with an extraordinary card
On it you can see Charlène in a yellow and gold dress with Prince Albert and the two dressed up children in front of an opulently decorated Christmas tree.
The four are drawn in bright colors and with snow crystals as embellishments on the edges.
The Princess wrote: “I wish everyone a happy and safe Christmas time.
All the best".
