In the Jerusalem District Court, the cross-examination of state witness Nir Hefetz, former communications adviser to former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, continued today (Wednesday).

This is the 14th day of Hefetz's testimony.

Today, Hefetz will cross-examine Adv. Michal Rosen-Ozer, representing Iris Elowitz, thus ending the cross-examination in the 4000 case. Next week, the object of Netanyahu and Noni Mozes' lawyers is expected to be investigated in the 2000 and 1000 cases.

Rosen-Ozer focused this morning Hefetz claimed that after the election Yair took over his father's publicity policy and that he himself was a "victim of Yair." Hefetz also said that Yair did enormous damage to his father and the state: Information. "

Hefetz said that he also passed through Benjamin Netanyahu in the case of Ir.

"It must be in sync with Netanyahu. As for salvation, if it's Yair's business, then it's clear that Yair's way."

Hefetz added in his testimony that in other matters, whether these are sensitive, controversial, or political, then he went through Netanyahu. When it comes to an esoteric matter, what nonsense, then it may be that you did not go through Netanyahu, but through Yair.

"After the election I asked Yair - you do not intend to study or work and he told me no in the coming years I intend to borrow and look after my father. He really told me."

Rosen-Ozer questioned Hefetz regarding the question of when he met Iris Elowitz.

According to Hefetz, he did not know Iris Elovich until the meeting that took place at the family home.

He said Iris was irrelevant and was very passive.

She just listened and did not contribute to the conversation in any way.

Also, in the cross-examination, additional statements by Hefetz were presented in his police investigations in which he confirmed that he did not know her before.

On the meetings in which Iris Hefetz attended, he said again: "Iris Elovich is only after December 27, 2016."

Hefetz's cross-examination yesterday focused on the events he described in his main testimony, how Shaul Elowitz asked him to pass a document to former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to Elowitz, the document can be downloaded from Google, but later it became clear that it was a document from the Antitrust Commissioner approving the Bezeq-Yis merger transaction.

Hefetz was also asked to send a message to Netanyahu that the Antitrust Authority had set aside time for a decision to approve the Bezeq Weiss merger, so he must sign the deal before the election.

According to Hefetz's testimony, Netanyahu shredded the document and ordered a meeting with Elowitz on November 28, 2014.

In the cross-examination, Hefetz was asked yesterday about Netanyahu's grinding habits, and replied that this was a routine operation: "Netanyahu grinds everything, if there was a grocery list he would grind it as well."

What is Netanyahu accused of?

In the 1000 case

(the benefit benefits case), Netanyahu is accused of receiving benefits worth about NIS 700,000 from businessmen Arnon Milchen and James Packer, while he served as prime minister. The main gifts were cigars, champagne packages and jewelry.

In addition, it was alleged that Netanyahu acted in Milchen's favor in three matters, in which the businessman sought his intervention: he approached US Secretary of State John Kerry to extend the businessman's visa, he approached Finance Minister Yair Lapid to extend the exemption. A tax for returning residents, and he worked to promote a merger of "Keshet" and "Reshet" - ostensibly at Milchen's request. According to the lawsuit, these acts damaged the image of the public service and the public's trust in it. In this case, Netanyahu is accused of

fraud and breach of trust.

File 2000

(Netanyahu-Mozes affair) deals with talks between Netanyahu and Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Arnon (Noni) Mozes. Mozes, publisher of the Yedioth Ahronoth group and the newspaper's editor-in-chief is accused of bribery. In the same talks, the two allegedly discussed the benefit of the prime minister's coverage in the Yedioth group, in exchange for imposing restrictions on the newspaper's main competitor - "Israel Today." The prosecution is convinced that the person who offered the deal is Moses, so he is accused of bribery. On the other hand, the ombudsman was also convinced that Netanyahu did not intend to complete the bribe deal, but continued the talks with Mozes to improve his coverage in a Yedioth group, and there are even certain actions for this purpose. In this case, Netanyahu is accused of

fraud and breach of trust.

Case 4000

(Bezeq-Walla case) The most serious case for the prime minister concerns regulatory benefits worth hundreds of millions of shekels, which Netanyahu allegedly granted to Shaul Elowitz, the controlling shareholder in the Eurocom group through which he controlled several public companies, including the Bezeq group and the Walla !.

Elovich and his wife Iris Elovich are accused of bribing and obstructing legal proceedings in return.

According to the indictment, Elovich acted to skew the coverage on the Walla !.

In this case, Netanyahu is accused of

bribery.
