Today, the Iraqi police arrested a terrorist in the western Nineveh Governorate, in the north of the country.
Alsumaria News quoted the Security Media Cell as saying in a statement that, based on accurate information and continuous follow-up by the Sources Division in the Military Intelligence Directorate, which reported the presence of a terrorist in the village of Al-Amla Al-Janoubiya, affiliated to Al-Ayyadiyah district, west of Nineveh, and in a qualitative operation that was carried out in coordination with the Intelligence Division of the 15th Division, in which intelligence detachments participated. The third regiment, the 73rd Infantry Brigade, and a force from the same regiment resulted in the arrest of the terrorist in the aforementioned area.
The statement added that the terrorist is wanted by the judiciary under the provisions of Article 4 of terrorism.
The Iraqi forces are continuing their security operations to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorists in various Iraqi regions.
