This is why before any entry into a children's furniture store, you need to ask yourself, and of course preferably the child, what are your needs?
If the child is studying mainly in zoom, he needs an advanced study corner, a comfortable chair and an adjustable desk with the option to move the computer monitor according to the child's position, which changes as the school day lengthens.
The costs of a study corner depend mainly on the special extras you are requesting.
If it is a desk and a standard chair, the prices range from NIS 500 to NIS 700.
The more you ask for upgrades and extras - from lighting to special speakers - the price will jump 2 times, and sometimes 3 times.
Once you have purchased the right furniture - it is time to think about what accessories are needed for it, so that the child does not have to get up every time but can concentrate on learning.
These are not only items from the child's world, such as a picture of a favorite network star or dice in the color of his favorite football team, but also essential accessories for learning, such as a desk lamp, stationery, water bottle holder or glasses and board.
There are still places where a cork board (NIS 50-100) is used, but children are recommended an erasable board with magnets (NIS 100-130).
If the furniture for the children you bought does not include shelves, or there is no place to put shelves, it is recommended to buy storage boxes (NIS 40-70), in which the child will put the books, important papers from school and creative works.
The most important thing is not to overload with colors and accessories, so as not to create unnecessary stimuli.
In the end, keep in mind that this is a study corner and not a play corner.
It is true that learning should be fun in order to be effective as well, but it is important not to overdo it, and to give the child the feeling that he is in an educational setting, even if he is learning inside his own home.
