The "Carmel" storm, which is gradually weakening, will continue today (Wednesday).
This is the most significant rain system in the current winter season so far.
According to the forecast, the rains will continue to fall today in the north and center of the country - and there may even be light rain in the northern Negev.
Due to the rains there is still a danger of flooding in the coastal cities.
As for the snow, it seems that except for the summit of Mount Hermon - there are no snow conditions in the north of the country.
However, one can take solace in the fact that on Monday 25 centimeters of snow fell on the lower level of Mount Hermon and it is possible that by the end of the storm a few more centimeters will pile up at the site, at least in the upper part.

Storm Carmel is expected to continue until Friday afternoon, when in the morning it will be partly cloudy to cloudy and local rain has fallen in the north and center of the country.
Snow fell on the top of Mount Hermon.
The storm was full of precipitation and 71.8 mm of rain fell in the last 72 hours until yesterday afternoon in Tel Aviv. Beyond that, 239.8 mm of rain fell in Tel Aviv since the beginning of winter.

By Monday, he had already added two centimeters of water, when it seemed that another beautiful increase was expected due to the heavy rains that fell in the north of the country and led to a significant flow in all the streams flowing into the Sea of Galilee.
And yesterday, the Sea of Galilee rose another centimeter to a height of 210,745.
