Two monkeys, who were reportedly involved in "revenge actions" against dogs and even killed them, were captured earlier this week by inspectors in the city area of Beed in the Indian state of Harashi.
The horrific affair begins with the alleged, local dogs from a town called Lavool killing a gray langur baby monkey.
Shortly afterwards, according to town residents, many puppies were "kidnapped" by adult monkeys and thrown to their deaths from great heights.
Residents believe the monkeys actually took revenge on the dogs for killing the little monkey.

"In recent months we have witnessed many cases where carpenters roaming the area have caught puppies and taken them to high places, such as treetops and rooftops, only to throw them away. At least 250 dogs have died so far," a town resident told Indian News Agency ANI, while another resident added. Because the monkeys were so "thorough" in their work that there were no puppies left in the town.

It should be noted that a representative of the district administration said that he did not have evidence that the actions of the monkeys, which did happen, were due to a desire to take revenge on the dogs.
"This is a behavioral pattern that we do not know how to explain," the representative stressed.
However, two monkeys located in the town and according to residents' testimonies "tried to kidnap" children who were on their way to school, were captured by nature inspectors and taken to a more remote forest, for safety.
The shocking affair went viral on social media in India, and received the hashtag #MonkeyvsDog on Twitter.
