The Syrian Trade Corporation announced the continuation of the work of its complexes, halls and outlets in all governorates during the Christmas and New Year holidays, including the sale of subsidized materials and positive intervention materials via the electronic card.
The Director General of the Foundation, Ziad Hazaa, indicated in a statement to SANA that the continuation of the work of the complexes, halls and outlets comes within the framework of an effort to provide the basic needs of citizens, stressing the availability of a wide variety of food and consumer goods, family supplies, vegetables and fruits at reasonable and appropriate prices in the halls.
In a related context, the Syrian Bakeries Corporation announced that its bakeries will continue to operate in all governorates during the holidays.
The Director General of the Foundation, Muayyad Al-Rifai, said in a statement to SANA that the bakeries will operate at their full production capacity during the holidays, with the aim of providing bread to citizens on a daily basis, stressing that bakeries “will not be closed except during the weekly holiday on Friday.”
Yesterday, the Council of Ministers issued a communication to suspend public authorities on Saturday and Sunday, 12-25 and 26, 2021, and Saturday and Sunday, 1-2-1-2022, on the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Day.
