Another hearing in the retrial of Zadorov's trial opened this morning (Wednesday) in the Nazareth District Court, where the testimony of retired Superintendent Yaron Shur, which began yesterday, will continue. Schur, who has served 32 years in police forensics labs, is an expert witness in the field of shoe imprint marks.

During yesterday's hearing, the shoe Zadorov wore on the day of the murder was discussed in detail. According to Taurus' testimony, the footprints found on Hilda Rada's trousers indicated a fit to Zadorov's shoe sole. He also claimed that Zadorov's shoes were made by a company called "Salamander", who brought them with him from Ukraine, and they were rare in the country.

Today the cross-examination focuses on the fact that he identified an ox on Tair Rada's trousers and the fact that the soles of the shoes were clean.

This fact was delayed yesterday by Judge Danny Sarfati, who wondered how Schur ruled that the footprints of Zadorov's shoes were most likely found on the pants while the soles were clean.

The judge was inaccurate, because an examination of a substance called Blue Star revealed that there were remnants of blood, but that no DNA could be extracted from them.

Also, the court did not express wonder why the remains of materials used by him in his work (such as glue and sand) were not found on the shoes of the defendant, who worked in the flooring.

That is, they did not raise the possibility that the soles were cleaned, as previously assumed at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

Laboratory tests will now be conducted on Zadorov's wardrobe, the plastic handle of the Japanese knife and the sheath of the knife.

Schur said in his testimony today that "in all my 32 years in the police force I have not seen a reconstruction of murder, beyond this case I saw in Moshe Lador's office.

He said, "When we were with the state attorney, someone showed the recovery video and then I said there are traces that support the recovery."

According to the witness, he recognized Zadorov's footprints before he saw the reconstruction video.
